TUULI is a furniture piece which explores design for small living spaces in response to increasing housing costs, urban density, and limited residential space. The design combines multiple functions into a single adaptable piece of furniture.
It consists of five levels that rotate around one pivot point, allowing the user to transform the setup according to different needs. Depending on its position, TUULI functions as a sideboard, clothes drying rack, a table surface and two shelving units.
By integrating everyday functions into one compact and flexible object, TUULI aims to maximize space efficiency and support contemporary urban living.
TUULI can be arranged in different configurations to suit different needs. In its compact setup, all elements are aligned to one side, creating a sideboard with two shelving units. If needed, the integrated table and drying rack can be pulled out.
For a larger setup, the elements can be rotated to create a wider sideboard. The different arrangements create additional surface space for everyday objects such as a table lamp, flowers, candles, or coffee table books.
TUULI is available in different colors. The layered design allows customers to combine colors by choosing one or more layers in a contrasting shade.
